NON-SPORTS TRADING CARDS OF THE 1950s: MISCELLANEOUS WAX PACKS & DISPLAY BOXES

Here is a collection of images of five-cent and one-cent wax packs of the 1950s. Just imagine getting something for a penny today, much less something that was a bit thrilling and memorable. There were many more card sets than I have here, trading cards with bubble gum having become immensely popular as some prosperity set into postwar America. The colors of the packages certainly reflect the optimism of the time.
